I bought my home in Annapolis, Maryland in June, 1996. The garden was a blank slate. My home backs up to woods and the deer have become a bigger problem over the years as development in the area has affected their habitat. Therefore, many of my choices for my shady plot have been influenced by my realization that I must share my garden with wildlife.
It's daylily time! New Dawn is above, Happy Returns above right and Buck's Choice below right are in bloom. Uncle Bill gave me the Buck's Choice from his Buck's County, PA garden.
